We are working to build up a stock of our more popular lines for next day shipping, but the majority of the wines we list are hard to find and only bought occasionally - we order these from our suppliers when you order from us (for the full story why not read the about us page). As all suppliers have a minimum order quantity this can mean a short delay before we ship the wine to you. As we are just launching the site, the lead times will be a little longer than normal. In spite of this your confidence in us has gotten us off to a great start and as such our average lead time is just around a week. Once "normal" service kicks in we expect that this lead time will drop to under a week. It is not yet an exact science so we would rather not pretend that it is! As a basic rule if you are ordering over the weekend or Monday, we expect to be shipping your wines by Friday, if your order comes through Thursday/Friday it is likely to be the following week (but not always). Please also be aware that our suppliers have sometimes exhausted stock of a particular vintage before we place our order. We (and they) do our best to keep our website up to date with the correct vintage information, but despite our best efforts the kind of wines we sell are subject to variation in demand (especially when there is a brand new glowing review!) and so changes do occur. We will always do our best to contact you if the specific vintage you ordered is not available; if we are unable to do so and you are not happy with the vintage sent, we will of course collect the wine and offer a full refund along with our heartfelt apologies.
To make it easy to compare prices, we show you the per bottle price throughout our site. When you choose the Vintage and Case Size you require, the full purchase price will be shown. We calculate the bottle price based on the most expensive vintage, so the full price may be less than you expect!
We really do want you to be delighted with both the wine and the service you receive from us. If either fall short of your expectations, please let us know straight away and we'll do our best to put things right - we offer a no quibble money back guarantee on everything we sell. Don't forget this goes as far as us collecting your wine for return to ourselves and refunding you for any remaining bottles (including any shipping costs).
